This is an expedition, an adventure with an aim but as of yet no route. Or rather, there is a route but it is not yet formed.
The aim is to walk one hundred hills in the British Isles. They can be any height, in any part of the country. A hill’s height has little to do with its beauty and its ability to inspire.
It takes a lifetime to know a single hill in all its moods, but hopefully I’ll get a glimpse.
There is no time limit or schedule. I may go to one each week and then none for months. I have no idea when this will end.
I want anyone to suggest hills to become part of the journey. Tell me why they are special, what’s unique, and what they mean to you.
